Website Terms & Disclaimer

Effective date: October 1, 2026
Last updated: October 1, 2026

These Website Terms and Disclaimer (“Terms”) describe the conditions and limitations applicable to the use of claritywithharmony.com (the “Site”), operated by Clarity with Harmony, LLC (“Clarity with Harmony,” “CWH,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

These Terms apply to use of the public Site. A separate written agreement governs services provided to a CWH client. If these Terms conflict with a signed client agreement concerning client services, the client agreement controls.

1. Purpose of the Site

The Site provides information about Clarity with Harmony, our approach, and the types of services we may provide.

Site content is intended for general informational and educational purposes.

Information on the Site is not a substitute for advice from a professional who is licensed or otherwise qualified to advise you concerning your particular circumstances.

2. No Client Relationship From Website Use

Visiting the Site, submitting an inquiry, exchanging preliminary communications, requesting information, or participating in an introductory conversation does not by itself create a client relationship with CWH.

A client relationship begins only when CWH and the client agree to an engagement and its applicable terms.

CWH may accept or decline a proposed engagement based on the circumstances, scope of work, availability, applicable requirements, and other relevant considerations.

3. Professional-Service Boundaries

Unless expressly included in a written engagement and lawfully within CWH's scope of services, CWH does not provide:

  • legal advice or legal representation;

  • audits, reviews, attest engagements, assurance services, or other services requiring CWH to be licensed as a CPA firm;

  • investment advice concerning the purchase, sale, or allocation of securities;

  • brokerage or investment-management services;

  • insurance advice or insurance sales;

  • medical care or clinical assessment;

  • mental health treatment;

  • licensed social-work or clinical care-management services; or

  • other professional services requiring a license or qualification CWH does not hold.

Nothing on the Site should be interpreted as creating such a professional relationship.

When a matter requires specialized or licensed expertise outside CWH's scope, an appropriate attorney, CPA, tax professional, investment adviser, insurance professional, healthcare provider, or other qualified professional should be consulted.

4. Bookkeeping and Financial Operations

CWH provides bookkeeping, financial operations, financial information organization, management reporting, coordination, and related decision-support services depending on the scope of an engagement.

CWH is not a CPA firm and does not represent itself as one.

Where permitted by applicable law, CWH may prepare bookkeeping reports, management reports, and financial statements on a non-assurance basis.

CWH does not provide an audit opinion, review conclusion, attest opinion, or other form of assurance regarding financial information and does not perform services that require CWH to hold itself out as a licensed CPA firm.

Financial reports, analyses, and other work prepared by CWH depend on information obtained from clients and relevant third-party systems. CWH does not independently guarantee that information supplied by a client, financial institution, payroll provider, accounting platform, or other source is complete or accurate.

Clients remain responsible for reviewing their financial information and for business, tax, legal, investment, and other decisions based upon it.

Unless expressly included in a written engagement, CWH is not responsible for preparing or filing tax returns, making tax elections, or meeting a client's tax filing or payment obligations.

5. Decision Support

CWH may help clients:

  • organize and understand information;

  • identify relevant questions;

  • identify patterns, dependencies, and tradeoffs;

  • model or compare alternatives;

  • identify information that may be missing;

  • prepare for decisions; and

  • coordinate information across professionals or resources.

Decision support does not transfer decision-making responsibility to CWH.

Clients remain responsible for deciding what actions to take and for obtaining specialized professional advice when appropriate.

Use of the Site or CWH's decision-support services does not by itself create a fiduciary, trustee, custodial, attorney-client, investment-advisory, or similar relationship.

CWH does not acquire authority to make decisions, control assets, or act on another person's behalf merely by providing information, organization, coordination, or decision support.

6. Life Transitions

CWH may provide limited, bespoke Life Transitions engagements that help clients organize and understand financial, administrative, resource, logistical, and decision-related considerations arising during significant periods of change.

Those circumstances may involve matters such as care or mobility, remaining at home, retirement or later life, a housing transition, separation or divorce, the death of a spouse or partner, or a change in income or household structure.

CWH's Life Transitions services do not constitute medical treatment, clinical assessment, mental health treatment, licensed care management, licensed social work, legal representation, investment management, or insurance advice.

CWH does not diagnose health conditions, prescribe medical care, determine legal rights, or select investments on behalf of clients.

When a client's circumstances require expertise outside CWH's scope, an appropriate licensed or qualified professional should be involved.

7. No Emergency Services

CWH does not provide emergency, crisis, medical-response, protective-services, or other urgent-response services.

Do not use the Site or CWH's general contact channels for an emergency.

8. Other Professionals and Service Providers

CWH may, where appropriate, help identify questions for other professionals, organize information for them, coordinate information among people involved in a matter, or identify potential outside resources.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, another professional or service provider remains independent from CWH.

CWH does not control or guarantee the advice, services, availability, qualifications, pricing, actions, or results of an independent third party.

Clients remain responsible for deciding whether to engage and rely upon another professional or provider.

9. Accuracy and Changing Information

CWH works to provide useful and accurate Site information, but information may become incomplete, outdated, or no longer applicable.

Laws, regulations, technology, professional requirements, pricing, services, and individual circumstances can change.

Examples, scenarios, descriptions, and general information appearing on the Site may not apply to your particular circumstances.

You should not rely on Site content as the sole basis for a significant financial, tax, legal, medical, investment, insurance, or other professional decision.

10. No Guarantee of Results

Every business, founder, household, and situation is different.

Nothing on the Site guarantees a particular financial result, business outcome, savings amount, profitability level, personal outcome, decision, or other result.

Testimonials, examples, descriptions of past work, or descriptions of possible benefits do not guarantee that another client will experience the same result.

11. Third-Party Resources and Links

The Site may reference or link to third-party websites, professionals, platforms, products, or resources.

Unless CWH expressly states otherwise, such references are provided for information or convenience and do not constitute a guarantee or endorsement.

CWH does not control and is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, privacy practices, products, services, or content of third parties.

Your use of a third-party service is governed by that third party's own terms and policies.

12. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, the Site and its original content—including text, graphics, branding, service descriptions, frameworks, organization, and other materials—are owned by or licensed to Clarity with Harmony and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may view and use Site content for personal purposes or for your internal evaluation of CWH and its services.

Without permission, you may not:

  • reproduce substantial portions of Site content for commercial use;

  • republish CWH materials as your own;

  • remove copyright, trademark, or ownership notices;

  • use CWH's name, branding, or materials in a manner suggesting affiliation or endorsement;

  • systematically scrape or extract Site content for republication or commercial exploitation; or

  • otherwise use CWH intellectual property in violation of applicable law.

Nothing on the Site transfers ownership of CWH intellectual property to a visitor.

13. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Site to:

  • violate applicable law;

  • interfere with Site operation or security;

  • attempt unauthorized access to systems or data;

  • introduce malicious code;

  • impersonate another person;

  • submit information you are not authorized to provide;

  • infringe the rights of CWH or another person; or

  • use the Site in a fraudulent or abusive manner.

14. Information You Submit

When you submit information through the Site, you represent that you have the right to provide it.

You authorize CWH to use that information as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, evaluate a potential engagement, provide information or services you request, maintain appropriate business records, and carry out the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.

Submitting information does not require CWH to accept an engagement.

Please do not submit highly sensitive personal, financial, or medical information through a general Site form.

15. Website Availability and Warranties

The Site is provided on an “as available” basis.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, CWH does not warrant that the Site will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components, or that all Site information will always be complete or current.

Nothing in this section limits obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. Limitation Concerning Website Use

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CWH will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising solely from reliance on or use of the public Site or inability to access it.

This limitation concerns use of the public website.

It does not replace, expand, or limit liability provisions contained in a separate written client agreement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that applicable law does not permit CWH to exclude or limit.

17. Privacy

Use of the Site is also subject to CWH's Privacy Policy.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent another jurisdiction's law applies and cannot lawfully be waived.

Any dispute concerning use of the Site may be brought before a court with appropriate jurisdiction, subject to rights or protections that applicable law does not permit the parties to waive.

A client agreement may contain separate governing-law or dispute-resolution provisions.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.

20. Changes to These Terms

CWH may update these Terms as the Site, services, business practices, or applicable requirements change.

The current version will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
